Zhang XiuchuangIn 1983 he graduated from Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics (BUAA) and further obtained his master degree in the Ministry of Aerospace Industry in 1988.
He started to research ink jetting technology as early as in 1990. In 1994, he acquired the patent of CIJ printer from Chinese authority. which claimed the first specialized institute in this field in China.
By the time the first China made CIJ printer applied to industry was developed by Xiuchuan Zhang in 1994, China's CIJ printer market was no longer dominated by the imported products.
